I stared deeply into the eyes of the barghest. He had his lips pulled back so as to show off
his teeth. I knew he wouldn’t attack, but that’s not what antagonized me. It
was the mystery of what awaited. Death?
That was certain. The how? That is another story.

Jotunheim
His whole life was rather bleak
At eight feet tall, he was considered a freak
But then he left, to live with his mother’s kin
Instead of staring up, they looked down upon him
Normal at last because perspectives aren’t the same

Lycanthrope
The lycanthrope approached. It was strange to hear John's voice come from the wolf's body. He said he'd never forgive me. I reached for my knife, but then I froze. My guilt tormented me. Our eyes met, he saw my regret. I was left with life, just one less arm.

Taphephobia
Death.
It is a thought that scares most everybody. But not me. Death
I imagine as a rather pleasant experience. When one is dead there is
nothing to fear. A man, when dead, doesn’t
notice the small space. Yes I do not
suffer from thanatophobia, it’s taphephobia that afflicts me.
